HOW DO I APPLY FOR A RESIDENCY AT CENTRE POMPADOUR ?

send your application including your CV, a project proposal, a motivation letter of one page maximum each via email. please note that we accept residencies of minimum 3 weeks to maximum 2 months. precise when you would like to stay with us.

HOW DO I RESERVE MY RESIDENCY?

once your application has been accepted by our advisory board, you book your stay by paying a 50% downpayment (which is not refundable if for any reason you can not make it).

at least 2 weeks prior to your stay the other 50% of the residency fee must have arrived on our account.

HOW DO I GET THERE ?

the closest airport is CDG Paris. from the airport the the RER train takes you to Paris Gare du Nord where you change trains to go to ABBEVILLE.

we pick you up by car in Abbeville.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

Yezzzzzz.....but: we have bikes for our sporty feminists.

and we go food shopping to Abbeville regularly and you are always welcome to join.

the are taxi cabs and there are car rentals like AVIS and EUROPCAR in Abbeville. you can reserve them by internet.

ALL ABOUT FOOD

we are in France, needless to say that we love food and we love to cook. vegetarian food.

breakfast is included in your residency fee, Amandine prepares it for you from Monday to Friday (8:00 - 10:00) in the château kitchen or the garden terrasse.

one vegetarian château dinner is as well included in your weekly fee. for the rest of the week, you are self supplying. there is a well equipped residency kitchen on the attic floor and several fridges.

IS THERE A SPECIAL FEMINIST PROGRAM ?

there is a well selected library. during your residency you may participate in the video portraits of personal feminism, which usually is very helpful training in self-assured representation.

we have themed discussion nights in which you are very welcome to participate prepared or not.

a presentation of your work to your fellow residents and house guests is always welcome.

AND WHAT ABOUT MY FURY FRIEND ?

Tiger Lilly, a Bengal cat, and Tiny Heini, a black pug, rule our house.

up to a reasonable size, your well behaved cosmopolite companion is very welcome.
